You da Bomb!

Bath bombs are my love language!  While I do like to make them myself they can be very frustrating.  It takes patience and a light hand.  Have no fear…if you ain’t got time for all that Young Living has 2 that you can choose from (Lavender or Stress Away).

 

Want to try to make your own here is the recipe that we use.

You da Bomb!

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Baking Soda
  • ½ cup Citric Acid
  • ½ cup Corn Starch
  • ½ cup Epsom Salt
  • ¾ tsp Water
  • 10 drops essential oil
  • 2 tsp carrier oil (liquid)
  • Coloring

Instructions

  • Add essential oil into carrier oil and stir to combine.
  • Combine everything EXCEPT the citric acid in a glass or metal bowl. When mixed well add the citric acid and mix again.
  • Note mixture should still look dry, like breadcrumbs, and feel like soap flakes. It will hold together when you squeeze it.
  • Pack the mix into your mold. Twist the halves of the mold apart to remove your bath bomb. It should come out easily and hold the shape.
  • Let your finished bath bomb dry for at least 24 hours before usage and packaging.
